In order to encourage youth to join the Indian Air Force, Air Fest 2019, an aerial display has been planned at Nagpur on November 8 and 10, 2019 by the Head Quarters Maintenance Command. IAF recently celebrated it’s 83rd Air Force Day at Hindon Air Force Station, Ghaziabad with a thrilling display of the metal birds from various squadrons.
This year’s Air Fest will have a performance by the AkashGanga Display Team. The AkashGanga Display Team is Indian Air Force‘s ace paratrooping team. The Sarang Helicopter Display Team, Suryakiran Aerobatic Team will showcase the flying display along with several other formation flights. The Mil Mi-17 V5 Helicopters, Sukhoi SU-30MKI Aircraft and HAL HS-748 Avros will showcase the flying displays.
The spectators are sure to be thrilled by the performance of Suryakiran and Sarangs as they touch the sky with glory. SuryaKiran Aerobatic Team, Sarang Helicopter Display Team, Sukhoi Su-30 MKI Aircraft, MI-17 Helicopters, Indian Air Force Skydiving Team, Air Worrier Drill Team and Aero Modelling will be major attractions of the show. HQMC has sent invitations to schools for the air show in order to motivate the youth to join the Indian Air Force.
