The End of the Crowded Plane
In the past, Emirates flew very crowded planes. Their two-class Airbus A380 held 615 people. But now, flyers want more comfort. So, the airline is changing this packed layout. By late 2026, Emirates plans to finish the Emirates A380 retrofit on 15 of these jets. This smart move puts passenger comfort first. They care more about a good trip than just packing in seats.
Inside the New Three-Class Plane
Without a doubt, the best new part is the Premium Economy cabin. Workers spent 22 days giving the plane a full makeover. They changed the whole inside. Now, the plane has 569 seats. They took out 46 seats to give people more room. The new setup includes:
- 76 Business Class Seats: These seats lay flat for sleeping.
- 56 Premium Economy Seats: These give you more legroom and wider seats. You also get better food.
- 437 Economy Class Seats: These have fresh colors and new TV screens.
Also, flyers will soon get fast Starlink Wi-Fi. This new tech gives you quick internet high in the sky. You can stream, work, or play games easily.
Where Will the Upgraded Plane Fly?
Naturally, flyers want to test this new plane. The first plane with the Emirates A380 retrofit will fly in the Middle East first. After that, it goes to Europe. In mid-April, it will fly between Dubai and Amman. Then, on June 1st, it moves to the Dubai-Prague route. As workers fix more planes, they will fly to many top global cities.
A Big Promise to Flyers
