With a view to enhance trade and tourism between India and Tanzania, CSMIA becomes the only airport to be connected with direct flights from Mumbai to Dar es Salaam by Air Tanzania. The route is flown by the modern and state-of-the-art Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
The new route is flown by the airline thrice a week and flies from Mumbai on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. The airline flew for the very first time to India and landed at 0420 hours on the Indian soil for the very first time. The current configuration of Air Tanzania’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner is 22 business class seats and 240 economy seats.
With a view to provide the best of services to it’s passengers, Mumbai International Airport connects to Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Egypt, Seychelles and Mauritius in Africa.
