Star Air commenced services from Belagavi to Mumbai

VT-GSE, Embraer ERJ-145LR

Star Air, a part of Sanjay Ghodawat group (SGG), announced Mumbai as their next destination. As part of their expansion plan, the airline plans to connect Belagavi with Mumbai. The services are expected to start from September 6, 2019. Ticket bookings open for sale from August 9, 2019.

Star Air is a recently launched airliner carrier in India with its base at Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport (BLR). The airline operates the Embraer ERJ-145LR aircraft type – a unique type in India when compared to Boeing, Airbus, and ATRs. With two aircrafts – VT-GSC & VT-GSE – in the fleet, Star Air offers flights from Bengaluru to Hubbali, Belagavi, Tirupati, Ahmedabad under the Central Government’s UDAN scheme. Mumbai will be the airline’s 6th destination.
