VietJet expands service in India adding flights to CSMIA, Mumbai

Vietnam’s budget carrier, VietJet has recently announced additional services for connecting Vietnam and India. The airline commenced operations to New Delhi from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City back in December with promotional fares starting INR 9. They currently connect Hanoi to Delhi thrice a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday while the Ho Chi Minh to Delhi sector operates four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The airline will be connecting Da Nang and Delhi, starting May 14, 2020.

In an announement, VietJet confirmed flights to one of the busiest cities of India, Mumbai starting May 14, 2020. The airline will be operating its Airbus A320 on the thrice weekly Hanoi to Mumbai sector. Also, starting May 15, 2020, the airline will be connecting Mumbai to Ho Chi Minh city with four weekly flights. In its recent expansion plan, the long due connection between India and Vietnam finally comes to be end. With direct flights to the capital city of New Delhi back in December 2019 and now to Mumbai starting May 14, 2020, India will get a better connectivity to Vietnam and onwards.
