Virgin Atlantic Relaunches Mumbai Flights

On October 27th (start of Winter Schedule), Virgin Atlantic restarted their daily flights from London Heathrow to CSMIA, Mumbai after almost a four year gap of absence. This service adds to the existing flights provided by Air India and British Airways between Heathrow Airport and CSMIA, Mumbai. India’s second biggest airline, SpiceJet, on Wednesday, announced plans to build it’s first international hub in the northernmost state of the UAE kingdom, Ras-Al-Khaimah. On October 15th, on it’s 87th birthday, Air India made history by becoming the first airline in the world to use a Taxibot on a commercial passenger aircraft. SpiceXpress, SpiceJet’s cargo airline took delivery of it’s first Boeing 737-800BCF on September 22, 2019. The aircraft is leased from NGF Alpha Ltd., a division of Spectre Cargo Solutions. Boeing Converted Aircraft (BCF) are next-generation 737 aircraft, which are converted by Boeing into cargo jets.
