On October 15th, on it’s 87th birthday, Air India made history by becoming the first airline in the world to use a Taxibot on a commercial passenger aircraft. Air India’s Chairman and Managing Director Ashwani Lohani flagged-off the flight. SpiceXpress, SpiceJet’s cargo airline took delivery of it’s first Boeing 737-800BCF on September 22, 2019. The aircraft is leased from NGF Alpha Ltd., a division of Spectre Cargo Solutions. Boeing Converted Aircraft (BCF) are next-generation 737 aircraft, which are converted by Boeing into cargo jets.
